Having spent a year working with Ospreys Rugby Club in Swansea during the 2012-2013 Season, where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the strains placed on the bodies of professional athletes, she then took these skills back to her local team of St Albans Rugby during their 2013 – 2014 season, and the England Rugby League team during the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
She has also worked as event support, volunteering to support with Asthma UK runners at the London Marathon and the touch rugby tournaments in London.
Rehabilitation of injuries requires an in depth knowledge of biomechanics, which allows Fran to see how your biomechanics could be preventing recovery or even causing the issue.
“My main aim is to enable your body to undertake whichever sport or activity you wish to participate in, focusing on injury prevention, soft tissue work and joint mobilisation. These tools enable me to keep you active and able to continue working towards your goals.”
Fran has a sympathetic attitude and is ready to listen to all your concerns about your injury, considering the complicated nature of chronic pain.
